Restaurant Gerardushoeve is beautifully located in Epen, in the middle of the Limburg Hill Country. From our panoramic terrace, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Belgian Ardennes and the German Eifel Mountains, as if you were literally taking a glance abroad.
With us, it's all about hospitality, which we write with a big (and soft) ‘G’. This ‘G’ stands for cosiness - conviviality - health - happiness - enjoyment and gastronomy. Here you can experience the true Burgundian atmosphere.
Our beef comes from animals born and raised in Epen and bred by cousin Rick Frijns of De Oosterberg 500 metres away. It could hardly be more organic.
You may have already seen the imitators of what you get on your plate walking in our pastures that you overlook. Our pigs are also well pampered by Joshua from KUUSJ and can also be admired at our place from March to October. Subsequently, butcher Kusters guarantees animal-friendly and responsible processing.
Just around the corner from us is the French-speaking part of Belgium. From this area we get duck, aka French-speaking ducks. The game we use comes from the Vijlenerbos, which you must have already walked through.
